The SECRET

Reading this had been 2 years due, but yeah, I’m finally decided on finishing this TODAY!

This book was given to me by my aunt from US. She had been reminding me of finishing this book since we met in the Philippines two years ago. I found this book intriguing yet fascinating. Intriguing in a sense that everyone whom I encountered while holding this book were very curious why am I reading this. I had different reactions like, “Why are you reading this kind of book? Seriously, you are reading this? You should not read this one.” I am deeply amazed on their reactions that it rooted me, wanting to finish this book. But as I mentioned, I first opened this book some two years before I started this blogging. And yes, because of this book, I finally decided to start my own blog.

My aunt influenced me so much, not to mention, she was the reason I am so obsessed studying, reading and having this OC nature. Since I was a kid, she had been so strict teaching me the ways of learning. When she left to work to United States, it was not that hard for me coz I was still a kid then. But at this moment I am writing this blog, I realized how big her impact is to me, to WHO I AM NOW. She’d been very compelling on my skills and talents. She’d been very persistent on things I am doing and going to do.

I was kind of nerd when I was still young. I am very particular with my grades and my position in the honor’s list. I remember I even cried for a single mistake I had in my exam, trying to make my teacher mark it correct coz I really know it and I just forgot to write it on the paper. I do attended overnight parties or hangouts with friends, but I see to it I had a book, notebook and a pen with me in case I get bored. I would rather read and study than to have a sip of beer or wine that my friends tried when we were still young.

But I am not a nerdy type of student with big eyeglasses, formal clothes and big braces. I would say, I am somehow a cool guy. I am into dance and sports. Well, I decided to cut it short here coz I will be making some throwbacks of my life (dance, sports, travels, etc.) in my other posts.

What I’m passionate about is learning. I want to learn new things. I want to go on adventures. I want to explore myself and my capabilities. I want to explore the world and see its beauty. That is the reason Im starting this blog. And yes, it was also my aunt who bragged me on starting this. I’m lazy coz I don’t know how and where I should start. When I started posting pic of my style and way on dressing in instagram, my students keep on telling me to start one. And so, yeah, here it is.

I am going to blog things about what I love. As I read from the book “The Secret”, our life is a mirror of the dominant thoughts we think. And this blog will be the mirror of myself. Whatever I love, like and want will all be here.

It’s a Law of Attraction, the law of the Universe. In order for us to achieve what we are dreaming of, we should keep it in our mind. Think about it, proclaim it, tell ourselves things that we wanted. Our goals, our dreams, and our wants will all be at our reach if we keep thinking about it. We can have, do or be anything we want no matter how big it is. This is the SECRET, which was kept for a long time, but we already have a grasp on what it is, on how it can be achieved. Read on…..
