Visual learners learn best using drawings and diagrams. By associating words with images and pictures, learners can easily grasp the ideas or concepts taught through visual thinking. These type of learners prefer images, maps, graphs and other visual representations to other forms of instruction. According to studies, the majority of students in a regular classroom need to see information in order to learn it. Making up about 65% of the population, visual learners absorb and recall information best by seeing (studyingstyle.com). Common visual learning strategies include diagramming.

To maximize the benefit of visual thinking to learners and be able to adapt lessons for them, diagrams can be accompanied by oral instructions and a written recap before completing an assessment of learning. With the aid of technology, effective visual learning can be accommodated by providing Diagrams set made by Quizlet. With its mission to practice and master whatever students are learning, Quizlet provides engaging, customizable activities with contributions from people all across the globe.

This year, Quizlet introduces “Diagrams” as an addition to its features that helps students and educators in new ways of learning. Using Quizlet diagrams, teachers do not need to print-out images and let the students label. No need to print lots of worksheets.  Students can review and master the material in fun and interactive ways.
