For those who do not know me yet, I am Raymond Mitchel Africa, an MYP Science and Design Educator in an international school in Xiamen, China. I am nurse by profession but teacher by passion. Currently, I am also an IBDP CAS Coordinator and IBMYP Personal Project Coordinator. I have been actively involved in educational technology and currently ambassadors to different edtech apps, like Flipgrid and Squirrels.

Educators all-over the world have been experiencing the hype of their life through Flipgrid. This discussion community has been conquering classrooms from various parts of the world.

My classes have never been this engaging and active, not after I introduced Flipgrid in my classroom a year ago. It was mind-blowing and the digital experience has been encouraging and motivating.

HOW CAN I GET STARTED???

If you wanted to feel the #flipgridfever and transform your classroom to an extremely hot engaging discussion arena, start your journey HERE and start it NOW.

Activity – is where you will see your engagement days and hours, recent videos and achievements. You will also see a graph that shows your grid activity. Make sure you are engaging your grid to the highest level.

My Grids – is where you can add grids and add topics to your grids as well. Here you can spark discussions and let your students share their ideas.

MixTapes – is a place to showcase videos from your Topics. Here you can create a custom mix of epic Flipgrid Responses from across your Grids, allowing you to share your students’ magic.

Disco Library – is where you can share and find enormous topic templates across all audiences and subjects. You can create your own by sharing those from your grids or you can use others.

#GridPals – is where you can connect with like-minded educators around the world. It is like pen-pals back days. Spearheaded by Student Voice Ambassador @BMcClelland24, over 1,500 classrooms world-wide have connected on Flipgrid through gridpals.
